The sun shone and the flags flew at Witney PRIDE 2023 and The Madhatter Bookshop was delighted to be part of the festival fun.
We took our books and our new event assistant FRANK THE UNICORN who proved very popular with everybody young and old!
PRIDE is always a beautiful event where everyone is so friendly. It was wonderful to see every colour of the rainbow community represented as well as plenty of heterosexual families affirming their support for LOVE IS LOVE.
We wholeheartedly believe that everyone deserves the right to live free and equal no matter whom they are or whom they love. HUMAN RIGHTS BELONG TO EVERYONE - LGBTIQ+ included.
June is officially PRIDE month in the UK and we will be dressing our window in celebration so do pop in and say hello.
